BeLuThai Gala Night 2025: “The White Lotus – Expect the Unexpected”

The Belgian-Luxembourg/Thai Chamber of Commerce (BeLuThai) recently hosted its much-anticipated Gala Night at the Conrad Bangkok. Under the captivating theme, “The White Lotus – Expect the Unexpected”, the event welcomed over 230 distinguished guests, including chamber members, diplomatic representatives and leaders from both the public and private sectors.
The evening seamlessly blended elegance, mystery and celebration, reinforcing the deep-rooted ties between Belgium, Luxembourg and Thailand. Guests were treated to a culinary journey highlighting Belgian, Luxembourgish and Thai flavours, offering an exquisite fusion that delighted the senses and reflected the multicultural spirit of the event.
As the night unfolded, it delivered a series of memorable surprises, culminating in a vibrant after-party. The high-energy atmosphere was carried well into the night by renowned Thai DJ Sadia, whose dynamic set kept the dance floor alive.
Notable attendees included HE Mr Patrick Hemmer, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Thailand; Mrs Sarah Gasquard, Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Bangkok; Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Senior Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand; and Dr Supareak Chomchan, Vice Chairman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand. Their presence highlighted the significance of the evening in fostering international collaboration and cultural exchange.
In addition to the festivities, the Gala carried a strong charitable purpose. Through a lively lucky draw, 145,000 THB was raised in support of the Foundation for Slum Child Care, reinforcing BeLuThai’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community impact.
The theme, “The White Lotus – Expect the Unexpected”, brought an air of sophistication and intrigue. Guests embraced the suggested dress code - Black Tie or Capri Chic, resulting in a glamorous and visually striking evening.
